4. Bruning i ét trin
1. Ved langsom tilberedning kan du ved først at brune eller
sautere dine ingredienser give din mad ekstra smag og få
en svitset skorpe på kød og fjerkræ, som kan få tænderne
til at løbe i vand.
2. Tænd for din Slow Cooker, og vælg indstillingen "Brown/
Sauté" (Brune/Sautere). Løft låget af, når du anvender
bruning/sautering.
3. Kom fedtholdigt kød eller andre ingredienser, der skal
brunes/sauteres, i gryden. Svits ingredienserne nogle
få minutter på hver side. BEMÆRK: Den indre gryde
er særligt varm under bruning/sautering. Brug grill- eller
ovnhandsker, og hold hænder og ansigt borte fra gryden.
Bruningsprocessen kan frembringe små mængder røg.
Hvis der udvikles for meget røg og stænk, skal du slukke
for Slow Cookeren og tage stikket ud af stikkontakten,
indtil det holder op. HÆLD ALDRIG VAND ELLER
ANDRE VÆSKER I SLOW COOKEREN UNDER
BRUNING/SAUTERING.
4. Efter bruning ændres indstillingen til "Slow Cook", og der
vælges den ønskede tid og temperatur.
5. Lad gryden køle lidt af, før resten af ingredienserne
hældes i, og låget lægges på.
3) VEDLIGEHOLDELSE OG RENGØRING
1. Inden du rengør din Slow Cooker, skal du tage den ud af
stikkontakten og lade den køle af. Både den indre gryde og
låget tåler opvaskemaskine.
2. Hvis du foretrækker det, kan du vaske den indre gryde og
låget med et mildt opvaskemiddel efter at have fjernet dem fra
basisenheden.
3. Skyl med vand, og dup dem forsigtigt tørre med et viskestykke
eller en klud.
4. Tør ydersiden af Slow Cookeren med en fugtig svamp eller klud.
Lad være med at benytte skuresvampe, pulvere eller kemiske
rengøringsmidler på din Slow Cooker.
